I Manage and provide leadership to the Miami University Libraries’ Digital Initiatives Department. Digital Initiatives was created to be a center for the benchmarking, establishment of best practices, production, quality control, delivery, storage, retrieval, and preservation of digital library collections for the Miami University Libraries. That mission is supported by a team of librarians and staff with expertise in web application programming, database design, interface design, metadata, digital imaging, project design, and rights management. A newly renovated and state of the art digital production studio and an exceptional student and professional staff provide the raw digital materials to support the Libraries expanding Digital Collections activities.
