Miami University Libraries has implemented the Librarian Appointment, Rank, and Promotion System (LARPS) which is a promotion system similar to faculty promotion and tenure systems. In 2004, I applied and was awarded Promotion to the rank of Associate Librarian and continuing contract. Below is the narrative of my submitted portfolio.
